Elizabeth Anne Designs-Real Wedding

I was honored and super excited to find that Elizabeth Anne Designs had selected the wedding of Carmen and Josh to be published on their blog. Elizabeth Anne designs is one of the most popular, and best wedding blog sites around! Carmen and Josh's event was fabulous and I'm so excited more people can see their wonderful images.

Thanks to all the girls at Elizabeth Anne for selecting me!!!

Misty and her girls

I had a great time shooting with Misty and her two daughters last week. Everyone needed headshots and senior pictures. They invited me into their fabulous home to shoot and the pictures turned out great! All three ladies are beautiful so it's not hard to get a good picture of them. Here are a few of my favorites!

A little family time...

I was fortunate to schedule a few weekends off in July in anticipation of my son's baseball schedule. Last year I missed just about every weekend tournament which was no fun! So this year I took a step on faith and decided to just block off a couple of July weekends in case the team did well in the tournaments. My wishful thinking really paid off! My son's All-Star team, the North Piedmont All stars, won their District and Area tournaments advancing to the State last weekend. I was thrilled to have my camera clicking as the boys won the State championship for North Carolina. My son TJ, is a big left handed pitcher. He threw a no- hitter in the championship game! Here is the final pitch! Next week their off to regional!

Baby Britton...

As many of you know my wonderful husband, Jeff, and I run a non-profit organization Power Cross. This week two of our boys welcomed a new baby brother and future Power Cross member! He is baby Britton, he was 6lbs 6oz with the biggest feet I've ever seen! He is a beautiful healthy baby and I will definitely get more images of him soon. To check out our ministry go to www.powercross.org .

Christy & John-The engagement

I just realized that I didn't post any images of a wonderful engagement session I had with Christy and John a few weeks ago. We had the privilege of shooting their session at the Charlotte Knights stadium. Christy and John are both big baseball fans! We have a lot in common. I'm excited to do their wedding in October. They will be having a beautiful ceremony on the beach.

Jackie and Matthew

I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Jackie and Matthew this Saturday. They had a beautiful wedding at the First Baptist Church of Concord. After the wedding the couple and their friends and family celebrated with the reception at the Club at the Irish Creek in Kannapolis. The couple braved the elements outdoors for a few quick images before the rains set in. This is one of my favorite images so far from the day. Just as Jakie and Matthew kissed for the camera, lighting came down all around! Some kiss!! I'll be posting more images from their wedding later in the week.
